Rebecca Smith is a Senior Sister in Critical Care at the Royal London Hospital. She qualified as a nurse in 2012 where she started out nursing patients with traumatic injuries - this developed a love for trauma and a particular interest in Trauma in Critical Care where she now specialises. As a Critical Care nurse she has worked in Birmingham, Australia and is now at the Royal London where she has been involved in caring for patients with COVID-19, and coordinating the clinical shifts - including involvement in the new Critical Care unit as part of the Barts Health COVID-19 response.
