Chris Allen is The Former Director of Health, Safety, Social and Environmental (HSSE) at UK Oil and Gas. He was responsible for developing industry policy in areas of health and safety, the environment, and employment and skills. Chris is a board member of OPITO, the industry's training organisation, and the Offshore Training Foundation. He is Chairman of OPITO Training Management Ltd (OTML) which oversees the industry's successful Technician Training Scheme. He now works for Petrofac as director of health, safety, security, environment and integrity assurance (HSSEIA) for the group.
