Director
Dr. Nana A. Y. Twum-Danso is the Director of Project Fives Alive!, a partnership between the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and the National Catholic Health Service (NCHS) of Ghana to accelerate the achievement of Millennium Development Goal Four in Ghana through the application of quality improvement methods. In this role, Dr. Twum-Danso provides technical and strategic leadership to improve the processes of maternal and child health services at scale within the NCHS, and the Ghana Health Service, the largest health care provider in Ghana.
Data analysis allows targeting of resources to improve patient safety and outcomes. Working with the community can also improve healthcare outcomes
