Professor of Virology at UCL
Judy Breuer is Professor of Virology at University College London and Consultant in Virology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. Her research focusses on the use of genomics to understand the spread of viruses particularly in hospitals and how viral genetic variation contributes to disease and response to treatment. Professor Breuer is a member of the COG-UK and Hospital Onset Covid Infections SAGE subcommittees and Chair of the Department of Health Joint Committee on Vaccines and Immunisations subcommittees on Varicella zoster vaccines and Definitions of Immunosuppression Working Group.
