News Correspondent
Geraint Vincent joined ITN in April 2002 as a news correspondent for its ITV News service. He has reported on a variety of news events including the War in Iraq (embedded with the troops), the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, the Beijing 2008 Olympics and the Northern Bank robbery among others. More recently, Geraint has spent time with British forces on active operations in Afghanistan. He was part of the ITV News team covering the Haiti earthquake 2010, for which they won a BAFTA Award.
Establishing authority and a chain of command is vital during a crisis. Throwing money at a crisis is not enough without command and control and structure.
